Our Impact: Lifesaving By the Numbers
Purpose
Castoff Pet Rescue (CPR) is committed to operating with integrity, transparency, and the highest standard of care for the animals entrusted to us and the community we serve. As part of that commitment, CPR voluntarily reports our intake and outcome data to Shelter Animals Count, the national database that tracks how many animals enter shelters and rescues across the country and where they go. Every dog and cat who comes through our doors is counted, along with how their story ends, whether thatโs adoption, transfer, or return to owner. We share these numbers openly because we believe our supporters, adopters, and neighbors deserve to see the real results of their generosity, and because honest data helps everyone working to save more lives in Union and Towns Counties in Georgia and Cherokee and Clay Counties in North Carolina.
Please note: These numbers reflect our Blairsville shelter only. They do not include our Alpharetta adoption team, which keeps its own ShelterLuv account. Our two locations work together, rescuing and moving animals back and forth as homes become available, so some animals appear here as transfers in or out.
